I live in the West, and I like cool threads and helping others. So does Zack Nutter, the co-owner of 541 Threads, in Bend, Oregon. Linking passions together can make us rich in what matters.
So, Zack and I are launching the Best Threads In The West campaign (Best Threads for short).
From now til Christmas, Diamond-Cut Life is giving away a 541 Threads t-shirt every week. For every t-shirt that we (or anybody else) buys, 541 Threads donates five meals to food banks that feed hungry people. They’ve fed more than 36,000 folks to date. Their motto is Eff Hunger. I rarely cuss, but I effing LOVE that. Hunger needs to be abolished, especially in this land of abundance.
You get into the weekly Best Threads drawing by becoming an email subscriber to Diamond-Cut Life. To do that, just leave a comment at the end of this post. You’ll give your email address in the process (double-check it since it’s our only way to tell you that you’ve won). Nobody will see your email address but us, and we’ll never sell or share it.
If you’re already an email subscriber, leave a comment telling me you want to be in the drawing, too. We treasure our long-time readers.
We’ll announce a new winner of a Threads t-shirt every Monday. Winners choose
the t-shirt they want from the 541 Threads website. The shirt gets shipped to the U.S. address of your choice (it can be a gift, if you like). Here are the women’s designs, and here are men’s designs. You can even choose which state’s food bank gets the donation that 541 Threads makes for your shirt.
Email subscribers receive my weekly Thursday post in their inboxes on how to be rich in what matters. Now we’ll also have brief Monday posts announcing Best Threads winners. Here are examples of my posts. Easy to unsubscribe with a click any time — but I think you’ll stay around :).
