I’m excited that Blog Action Day has chosen climate change as the topic that thousands of bloggers worldwide will write about on October 15 (you can bet that I’m participating!) . . . I’ve added a new book, a real dazzler, to Books I Love . . . . . . I’m going to a three-day training on leadership communication next week in Eugene . . . I’m hoping to borrow someone’s beater bike so that I can bike-commute to the training using Eugene’s beautiful river-trail system . . . . . . Thor’s and my favorite non-work pastime now is helping Mahmudi, a 14 year old from Somalia, learn to read (we bought bicycles for his family last spring) . . . . . I’m continuing to prepare for my 50th birthday party in November 2010 . . . . . . my big focus at work these days is the Northwest rideshare project, which would make carpooling and vanpooling much easier options for people to use. . . . more soon.
