Deb, I'm just one year older than you, and can relate to everything you just said about our faces. Thank you for saying it for both of us.

Absolutely terrific! Particularly fond of Tracks of Time.

I just turned 47. Sometimes when I'm washing my face or brushing my teeth, I examine with detached interest the progression of lines on my face. I half heartedly consider botox or juvederm, but I know I cannot do it. These lines are who I am, they tell my story. I don't want to look like a caricature of myself. These lines are authentic. Some hard years, some happy years. All permanently etched into my skin and soul. I never want to look into a mirror and not recognize myself.

Great haiku!
